Department: Medical



• Develop, implement and execute the Medical Affairs asthma/allergic rhinitis strategy and ensure alignment between global strategy & local needs
• Drive pre-launch activities in collaboration with MSLs
• Build and develop sustainable professional relationships with pneumologists, ENT, pediatricians and patient organizations
• Develop and execute a comprehensive medical plan in close collaboration with internal stakeholders
• Act as a company expert in the assigned therapeutic areas of asthma and allergic rhinitis
• Drive the scientific content of scientific activities, such as symposia, medical forums, medical advisory boards...
• High level involvement in local pre-clinical and clinical trials
• Develop and provide product / disease and therapies training on assigned therapy area to internal and external customers, including the field force
• Effectively respond to medical information requests from customers
• Collaborate closely with Market Access to provide scientific evidence and local insights in the reimbursement process
• Present highest ethical standards


Knowledge / Experiences:

• Master university degree in medicine or sciences, preferably with a PhD
• More than 4 years prior experience in Pharma Industry and in Medical Affairs
• Experience in the therapeutic areas, asthma and allergic rhinitis, is a plus
• French, Dutch, English good written & spoken

Department: Pharmaceutical Affairs


Various general administrative tasks

Ensure an adequate administration of the department.
Receiving and opening correspondence of the department. Filing and archiving for the department.
Plan PA meetings, participate to the meeting and prepare meeting minutes.
Prepare and/or coordinate with third party translations for the department.
Coordinate and perform all required actions in SAP for payments of the department.
Assist in the budget follow-up in collaboration with the PA team members.
Organize and book travels for PA department.


Product complaints

Maintain the Product Complaint register up-to-date. 



Coordinate extra labeling activities with Pharma Logistics in collaboration with the RA/QA Officer.
Receive and archive all forms and requests. 


Promotional materials

Archive the exemplar of the final printed or produced material, and the signed overview page.
Maintain a positive list of informational and promotional materials.
Sends final Luxembourg materials to Luxembourg authorities once per month. 



Prepare list on gifts.


Contract Management

Prepare contracts with healthcare professionals and/or organizations in collaboration with the Legal and Compliance Manager.
File and archive contracts with healthcare professionals and/or organizations. 


Policies & Procedures

File applicable corporate policies and procedures.
Adhere to Chiesi standard operating procedures.


Qualification profile:

Knowledge/ Experiences

• Fluent in French, Dutch and English
• Experience in equivalent function in pharma is an asset
• Excellent MS office application knowledge

Department: Sales


  • Achieve the sales goals set for the territory in terms of Sales Growth and Market Share & Presence on the Hospital Formularies
  • Implement Chiesi Commercial Strategy within targeted key accounts/hospitals to achieve commercial goals taking into account ‘The Chiesi Way of Selling’-principles
  • Execute the Marketing Messages & Tactics
  • Identification and Profiling of the individual Key Accounts
  • Apply the Segmentation Principles to the Key Accounts
  • Continually meet with the Key Accounts to understand their needs, expectations whilst promoting the portfolio, make selling/formulary propositions by helping them understand our superior qualities relative to the competition
  • Continually build and map a solid network of effective and trustful relationships with key accounts, hospitals, decision makers and influencers
  • Identify partnership opportunities in the form of programs, staff meetings, congresses, etc; Develop and implement initiatives by coordinating with colleagues (Sales Representative, Regional Sales Manager, National Sales Manager, MSL, Product Manager, Medical Manager & RAQA Compliance Manager) 
  • Set up a Key Account Management Plan with a call plan, objectives, actions and planned activities based on a SWOT-analysis per Key Account
  • Ensure value is returned from the customer when value is provided
